In the interest of reference everywhere add an “ask a librarian” button to your blog, website

I added the “ask a librarian” button to the left side of the blog tonight. I probably should have created my own button instead of using the official Timberland button, but I was too lazy to build my own right now.

The reason I did it is because I love the idea of easily accessible reference services and the idea of reference where it is needed is important. Timberland has a very accessible reference service, with librarians accessible by phone, email and chat throughout the day. I’ve used the chat reference service before, and its awesome.

If you know how, use the code below to add the button to your site:

  1. I just put it on the friends site. 🙂 (The chat service is pretty awesome. I’ve only used it a couple of times, but still: great stuff.)
