I added the “ask a librarian” button to the left side of the blog tonight. I probably should have created my own button instead of using the official Timberland button, but I was too lazy to build my own right now.
The reason I did it is because I love the idea of easily accessible reference services and the idea of reference where it is needed is important. Timberland has a very accessible reference service, with librarians accessible by phone, email and chat throughout the day. I’ve used the chat reference service before, and its awesome.
