Now here’s a good history on the Timberland Regional Library

Our interim director Mike Crose earned his MBA from Evergreen State College (go Geoducks!), and in doing so wrote a really decent history of the Timberland Library system. I’d suggest anyone who wants to learn more about TRL read “Timberland: A History of Library Development in Washington.

I posted the entire document in chapters this morning, but you can read the chapter on Timberland Counties below.

The only other history that comes close is a chapter in Dynamics of Change. Crose’s work trumps that in terms of detail though.

I have some thoughts on the actual contents of the work, which I’ll post up later when I’m finished reading.
