Rough meeting notes from Wednesday’s McCleary meeting

Didn’t have time to boil these down, but here are my rough notes from last night.

Some interesting highlights:

1. Yelm and TRL still at a standstill over a future faciltiy in that city. Yelm library still on track to close in December 2011.

2. Going back over agreements and arrangements with small rural schools that have kiosks.

3. Possibly expanding hours in Rochester to create a “SW Thurston County” library between the Oakville/Rochester/Grand Mound area.

  1. Thanks for sharing! Nice to get a quick overview of what the board is thinking about.

  2. You’re very welcome. I actually feel bad for not posting these until well after the meeting, I realized after I’d packed everything up that I could have just posted them since the wifi was still on in the library!
